Admission Eligibility
Qualifying Examinations
Qualifying examinations for the purpose of admission to the first year of undergraduate courses offered by the University shall be Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto.
Candidate seeking admission to the courses offered by the University should have passed the qualifying examination obtaining minimum marks as specified for each of the courses in subsequent sections.
Age Requirement
There is no minimum age bar for admission to under graduate courses in the University and its colleges except in professional courses where regulatory body prescribes minimum age requirement (such asMCI, AICTE, etc,)

DU conducts Open Days(counselling sessions) where students get all information regarding the

- Character and migration certificates from the institution last attended
- Certificate of date of birth (normally the secondary school certificate)
- Subject-wise mark-sheet of the last public examination
- SC/ST certificate where applicable Certificate of having passed the lower Hindi test (if exemption from compulsory test in Hindi is sought)
- Medical fitness and participation certificates for admissions on the basis of sports and extra-curricular activities
- Three copies of a recent passport-size photograph
